What is Reiki?

Reiki

Reiki is a holistic healing practice using “universal life energy” that involves channeling that same energy via the practitioner’s hands. While Reiki is not a religion, and only spritual in nature, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Because Reiki comes from God, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with their own religious practice. A trained, attuned reiki healer will produce a higher healing frequency which are associated with healing. Relaxation, Joy, decreased feelings of stress, fear, and anxiety as well as improved physical conditions are common observations made from clients after a reiki session.
You may experience feeling heat or cold, tingling and seeing colors. Some report seeing pictures or having memories appear. Everyone’s experience is unique.

Healing is a two-way process. The practitioner is the conduit and the client is the receiver, and as such, should commit and take an active role in their own healing journey. This choice is key to receiving the best benefits and outcome from the healing session. The healer can only heal that which is allowed by the soul.
